Labyrinth - I've seen this much beloved movie I don't know how many times in my life. It's got lovable Muppets, beautiful sets, a great soundtrack, an incredibly imaginative plot, a strong-willed and intelligent young girl as a protaganist (something you hardly ever see in movies), and an unbelievably sexy antagonist played by David Bowie. Labyrinth is a very sweet and funny movie that also has quite a lot of depth to it, some of which I'd never really latched onto before I visited these people's websites who've really given a lot of thought to the movie.

Jareth - Where I would have just gushed about how hot he looks in those tight pants, this wonderful girl has taken the initiative to analyse every aspect and nuance of what makes up David Bowie's character Jareth, The Goblin King. I found this page very exciting and inspiring and I love the way it begins.

Party Girl

Kinda silly movie starring Parker Posey as a chick who has her own apartment in NYC and no means of supporting herself and all she does is throw parties and go to parties and go around in these horrible fashion victim get-ups and have lots of trendy friends. The plot is: she is being evicted and needs a job and has to convince her godmother that she's capable of being a decent librarian. Along the way there is romance with a cute Lebanese boy. It's hard for me to relate...with me it'd be more like I was a librarian trying to learn how to be a party girl so my social life wouldn't rot completely. The good thing about this movie is the trendy people aren't incredibly irritating like real-life trendy people. The bad thing about this movie is, it's pretty lame. The funniest part is when Party Girl's friend calls Sisyphus Syphillis.
