In CODEMASTER's brilliant game TOCA TOURING CARS, you can race 1 of 8 different cars in the 1997 British Touring Car Championship. One of these cars is the FORD MONDEO. While almost anyone can be fast in the Honda Accord, it takes REAL skill to be fast in the FORD. If you think you have what it takes, why not take the Mondeo challenge? My times are below, taken off the Sony Playstation using a neGcon analog hand controller under race conditions, not time trial.

Settings are: Weather dry, Difficulty medium, Race distance 10 laps

FORD wins at Silverstone and Knockhill.

The Team Foss/Scorpion Racing FORD Mondeo blitzed the field after taking pole at Knockhill, finishing a good 10 seconds clear of the Renaults. At Silverstone TF/SR Mondeo qualified a solid 5th and was up to 2nd by lap 4, eventually catching and passing Alain Menu for the lead on lap 6. In a nail biter finish the TF/SR FORD hung on to win. You CAN win in the Mondeo but it takes more skill, as just about anyone can go fast in the Honda.
