Pictures of DC monuments

Starting a page of monuments in DC. Every now and again we do the tourist thing and try to appreciate the city we live near. The first batch is from my statue exercise in Principles class. I ended up picking the guy in the middle of Men's Vietnam Vet statues. And went to the wall to look up James Robinson, who my high school was named after.

Here's the guy I chose for the exercise. I named him Mike Young.

This is the statue for the nurses, I love the anguish in her face, as she searches for the helicopter.
