No Competition

I didn't see what color your eyes are. But I
Close my eyes and see your face . . . your hair,
Dark and stylishly, summery short, pulled back to
Seem even shorter.

When I close my eyes, I can almost feel you,
Lovely, warm and slender against the inside
Of my arms, my hands behind you, or fancy a
Hand, high on your

Leg, pulse quick as a puppy, but so clear.
Christ, I sound fifteen. I don't love you;
We met once. I've got a wife, and you're already
Taken, taken,

Taking you over and over again,
Your eyes shut, your face to one side, your hair
Stylishly short, and dark against the pillow,
Wondering how it

Feels to hold you, Julie, to kiss your lips, your
Throat, your shoulders, ever so slowly downward,
As if my kisses could be as right, as gentle
As your girl's.

I heard the term "dyke tyke" at a Gaylaxian party at a recent SF
convention. (It was either Philcon or Albacon -- the memories
blur.) I don't know if it's in general usage, though.
