Our tour continues along the Via Dolorosa, the Way of the Cross, which leads to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Along the Via Dolorosa and inside the Church are the 14 Stations of the Cross. Now the Via Dolorosa is lined with glittering shops both for tourists and for residents. One can see butchers and sweet shops mixed in with various souvenir shops. Clothes, mostly aimed at tourists line much of the souk. Many of these items are imported from countries such as India and Taiwan.
Oriental carpets are another popular item on display.
