A Walking Tour of old Jerusalem - The Via Dolorosa - Page 1 of 2

Welcome visitor since 26 June 1999!

Our tour continues along the Via Dolorosa, the Way of the Cross, which leads to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Along the Via Dolorosa and inside the Church are the 14 Stations of the Cross. Now the Via Dolorosa is lined with glittering shops both for tourists and for residents. One can see butchers and sweet shops mixed in with various souvenir shops. To go navigate the 2 pages of the Via Dolorosa, click on the page numbers at the bottom.

The following photos give a flavor of the current Via Dolorosa as we begin our journey to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. First we encounter a bread cart.
