Dedication to a Very Special Woman
..This page is for my grandmother. She has always been a Very influential part of my life. She was a very wonderful woman. I wrote this poem for her a few days before she passed away, so unfortunately I never got to read it to her. I hope she can see this wherever she is now....
She has always been there
She is many things ~
the artist
the chef
the doctor
the teacher
the counselor
....to name a few.
She was there
when you were born
She nursed you back to health
when you were ill
She did her best
to ease the pain
of your first heartbreak
She has helped you
through the hard times
and smiled along with you
through the good times.
She was there
to watch you grow
and learn
And She was there
when your first child
was born
Now she will be leaving soon
but if you keep those
memories close
She will never be far.
