Amazon Vittata Vittata - Puerto Rican Parrots Endangered Species. Vittata means a red line of feathers sorrounding the beak when they are adult.

These parrots make their nests in the branches of the trees. There were 9 nests on this tree. I understand there have been up to 14 nests on this tree. The tree was located in Fajardo. I have seen some parrots in the area of Río Piedras and Old San Juan.
