(this page is best viewed with catscape meow button )

hi. welcome to my page. my name is Bean, and i'm kaj's master.....

kaj and bean

please be sure to visit my new bookstore! it has every book you need to learn all about cats and how to take care of us, as well as funny books, medical books, and instructional books. thanks!

for kaj's birthday this year, her fiancee's mom (i call her grandma mom) let kaj have a kitten (we live at her house.) my dad, draco knew of a batch of kittens at easy street, which just happened to be my family, and she got to go and pick one out. there were two there who were very playful, but when she picked me up and sratched under my chin, i felt as if i had died and gone to kitty heaven. i fell in love, and so did she. they brought me to their home the next day. i was named Mr. Bean, after their favorite rowen atkinson character, and i've settled nicely into their home and hearts.

black leopard in a treeborn on may first last year, i am already eleven pounds and show no signs of slowing down in my growing. i am happy, healthy, and the most affectionate and intelligent cat you will ever meet, if i do say so myself. i used to sleep in my parents' room everynight, typically on my mom's neck, but recently i've started to rebel and become more independant... so now i only sleep with them if there's a thunderstorm or if i missed them that day. i love to ride around on my mom and dad's shoulders like a parrot, (though i'm getting a little too heavy for that now!) and don't always object to being carried around or loved on when mom gets home from work.

running and napping kitten i have a girl friend named ashleigh. she followed uncle stuart (dad's little brother) home one day, and she was so cute and lovey that she got to stay. she is my granda mom's litt'l girl, but i'm sure that she was really gift for me. we spend a good portion of our day play-fighting and generally being cute together, then passing out on eachother. ashleigh is not nearly as smart as i am, but she is an affectionate cat for grandma mom. we're sure she's full grown, although in size she is smaller than i am; her markings are like a black and white american short hair, except that she is a light grey color and has a ringed tail. i could go on forvever about how cute we are, but see for yourself!

we have a newer addition to our cat family.... his name is sebastian, and he and i are getting along just fine ! he has a crooked tail and one too many toes on each foot. he's black and white and is taller than me, btu weighs less. he talks alot to me and the humans of the house, and chases me around all the time. ashleigh hates him; she hisses as soon as he's in her sight! but, he is my new step brother, so i have learned to live with him, and now we get along great. we even groom each other! he'll have his own pictures up here soon.

basenjis, the barkless dogs then there's oedipus the cat and anubus the dog... they have long stories that mom will soon type up and put on my page! until then, here is a picture of a dog that looks just like anubus (he's a basenji):

you can email me now! i have my own address!

my mom and dad volunteer at a big cat refuge called wild life on easy street, where they are in constant contact with the most beautiful and exotic creatures (big versions of me!!) on a weekly basis. to see pictures of their "big" babies, click the picture of black majik, a black leopard who lives there:
if you want to hear my favorite bed time story, about how the calico became known as the "money cat" go here.
