In an office in Athens. Scribe and Publisher enter.
Scribe: Well, that's it. That's the tale of Jasonnicus.
Publisher But you don't know what happened to him?
Scribe: Alas, we never found him. I sometimes imagine that he swept ashore on some isolated island, populated only by female worshippers of Aphrodite who are eager to impale themselves on his legendary penis, but I have no way of knowing if it has happened.
Publisher: What of the Bunchov and its crew?
Scribe: Bereft at the loss of Jasonnicus and terrified at the prospect of returning to their wives, they sailed into Charybdis. Publisher: 'Tis a very stirring account. It only lacks an ending. Perhaps we can have him landing on that island you mentioned? Or perhaps dying in battle to save a bunch of Vestal virgins?
Scribe: That can all be worked out later. I would rather talk about movie rights. "Jasonnicus and the Bunchovnauts," perhaps?
Publisher: Actually, we were thinking of a weekly cartoon...
