Well, I'm HERE. I have once again left the green bosom of western Pennsylvania for lands far away. Specifically, eastern Pennsylvania. With all the chaos of moving and preparing, I did not have the opportunity to write a final entry. Actually, I probably did, but I didn't have the energy.
The real adventure began when I left. On the day I climbed into my little car with a heavily stuffed trailor behind it, my dear old mother graciously decided to infect me with one of her many diseases. Of course, this equivalent of the Ebola virus wasn't too bad that first day, but I still did not feel well. It made dragging all of my furniture into my apartment that much harder.
Another fun occurance was the fact that the Electric guys lost my work order and told me that they couldn't have anybody out there until MONDAY. Those government-subsidized redneck losers were going to leave me ALL weekend with no power! Morons. Thank god, though, for an angel dressed in the clothes of the telephone guy who turned the power on for me. I narrowly escaped a cataclysm of extreme inconvenience.
So then I get to work for my first day, barely concious from the disease ravaging my young, studly body. Snoting, sneezing, and coughing up a storm, I was not a happy camper. Most critically, I think I blew the ol' first impression thing. Dammit. Thanks again to my mom who gave me the curse of life and then got me sick.
I also bought an as-yet unnamed new scorpion. It and Lucius are screwing a lot. At least someone's getting action around here.
