Mary Cassatt at the Art Institute of Chicago, till March 1999. A French impressionist, American born painter, was a friend and influenced by Degas. her dance paintings were focused on the audience of the show and not on the women dancers as Degas's. She was also influenced by the Japanese print, she did beautiful prints that are also in the show.
