I'm happy to announce that the exhibition of Michel Opatowski's last works will be exhibited at the Israeli Association of Painters in Tel Aviv Elharizi st. Opening on the 16's February 2000Hrs,2008. Hope to see you there.

On 10 December 2004 I posted the following:
"I am happy to host this exhibition of Michel Opatowski's prints "Variations on NBA Floor Lines"."

But sadly, only a little over a week later, I had to announce with the greatest regret, that Michel Opatowski had died, quite suddenly, of pneumonia and associated complications. We duly sent our most sincere condolences to his wife Ruthie and to his his children Anati, Alona, and Ari.

Michel Opatowski was a painter, a graphic designer, a map-maker, and a dear friend. He was an original member of the cult group "The Third Eye" and the founder and editor of the once notorious underground art funzine "Pahhad".

The prints in this exhibition of his most recent work were inspired by Michel's love of basketball and, most particularly, the NBA floor designs.

They are available in a limited edition, 10 print from each, digital print, 50cm x 70cm. .
