one day i'd like to buy my own beach.
sand and the sea, the sky so clear and the wind with just
the right amount of warmth and coolness.
i could walk barefoot all day and let my hair go free.
wear sarongs, malongs, saris, and swimsuits.
and swim all day.
i would feel the sand sink as i walk toward
the blue green waters.
the coolness of the sea i would feel
as i step unto the wet sands,
first it reaches my toes, next, my ankle.
then i would feel the waters rise, rise up to my knees and to
my waist, as i go deep, deep into the body of my beach.
