You might have noticed that quite a few people have left Hong Kong during the summer of '97, just after or before the 'Hand Over', well you may rest assure, by reading and seing their latest photo, that at least the few of us who have left are doing fine and well and haven't fallen of the face of the earth.

Sachiko Katada, -originally from Tokyo, Japan, she entered Island School in 1994 and joined Yr 9 Nansen. She has moved back along with her family to Nagoya, Japan, where she is currently enrolled at Sanchu University studying Arts (English) as well as holding a part time job at a store. |
Tina Mahtani, -originally from Hong Kong. She lived and grew up in Hong Kong, entered Island School in 1992 and joined Yr7 Nansen. She has moved to Penang, Malaysia with her family, living by the beach and is currently enroled in a hotel management 'twinning' course at College in Penang, and shall be going to Australia in the year 2000 to complete the course. *in the picture, she's the one with the little boy on her lap.* |
currently being contacted Sarah Bullock, -Originally from Australia, she entered Island School in 1994 and joined Yr9 Nansen. Acknowledged by the school for her photography and general atheletic (eg. Netball) enthusiasm She has moved back to Melbourne, Victoria, Australia has graduated from Geelong Grammar School VCEs(a Boarding school). She maybe in China with her family right now.

Acknowldeged by the school particularly for her enthusiasm in Table Tennis and GCSE and other photography. As of has February 1998, has been in Melbourne, Australia graduated from Trinity College Education Centre and is currently at Melbourne University studying Commerce (accounting). |
