My Version of Victory is Alternative

I'll tell you how people fight.
They don't line up nice and pretty,
they come at you from behind.
They live by first strike theory,
and practice various stratagems
of vileness and terrorism.

This sickness expands, it taints
innocent minds. We question
decaying morals too late-
we find that we have succumbed
to impure thought, a need for revenge,
a simple desire to get even.

In time I learned that to beat
despite you must first befriend
him. You must use trickery
and psychic warfare to blend
in amongst his cronies, then you strike,
when he least expects it, from behind.
