Occupation: Physician
Grad school: University of Virginia School of Medicine
[Professionally] Become an academic physician but maintain a strong clinical profile.
Now: I'm certainly learning about life, the chapters are a bit different than I had expected. If anything I have become aware of living life on life's terms rather than defining destiny.
Professionally I am working in the ER, but may take an academic position.
Along The Way: I did do a lot of travelling [both physically as well as metaphorically]. Didn't expect to do the house and 'settled' thing, but so be it.
Two years in the financial world were very fulfilling.
In The Future: I would like to be comfortable and financially able to continue some travel. I also hope the internet is much improved by then.
My Favorite Teacher: The typing teacher
Because: she was cool and she was absolutely right when she said that this was a skill that would pay off in the long run!
The stupidest thing I did in high school was: Blow Pepper into my eyes [HARD CONTACT LENSES!] while visiting some remote island during Serendipity day.
I suppose tying Eileen's feet together and putting her in the middle of the basketball court during a varsity basketball game might rank.
Something I'll Never Forget: Double decker bus rides with the group.
Get togethers on the Peak.
My Best Memory: The remarkable amount of time we spent together having fun.
Other Memories: Reading the dictionary over the phone to Eileen.
Square dancing.
Lantau.
Growing 11 inches
My Most Embarrassing Moment: When some clown [have to look up his name in the yearbook] made fun of me, smacked me around and knocked my glasses off. No one else was around and I never told anyone that it happened.
Some things I've Learned: Acceptance of others
"Maybe this is as good as it gets"
Every person is my teacher
Trust God
Something I'm Proud Of: Being a good Doctor and teacher.
The research that I did using Trans-esophageal echocardiography to define ventricular-vascular elastance while at Yale.
Winning the Rookie of the year award at the Connecticut Valley Region driving club [track and autocrossing events].
Any regrets?: Oie! Maybe on my deathbed.
Rumors I've heard: Nothing but the facts M'ame.
