HITG Inc. is the creation of Vikram Vaswani and Harish Kamath, two guys who wanted to change the world, make life easier for the Internet community and get rich...all on the same day.

HITG Inc. began as a joke, an idea kicked around to enliven a boring evening. But it slowly evolved into something far more ambitious - quite simply, the world's best guide to the hidden pathways and bylanes of the Internet.

Well, we never claimed modesty as one of our virtues...

Vikram Vaswani : The creative genius behind these pages and the only one who really finds them funny, Vikram is 20 years old, a college graduate with a degree in Economics and Statistics. Both adored and reviled for his good looks (?), strange sense of humour, way with words ( particularly the four-letter variety ), incisive mind and penetrating analysis of even the most mundane problems, Vikram is used to attention wherever he goes...even though it may not always be welcome.

When not working as a data miner in one of India's leading multimedia companies, Vikram likes to play squash, swim, listen to music, watch movies, drive like a maniac down Bombay's crowded roads,chase women and think deeply about the meaning of life.

Harish Kamath : A self-proclaimed HTML expert, Harish is a 21 year old electronics expert, who spends most of his free time trying to build the world's first remote-controlled hydrogen bomb. When not commuting to and from his college in the nether regions of Bombay, Harish also writes code in Visual Basic, C and other arcane programming languages. Although he has a degree in telecommunications, his interest in that subject is practically nil - he prefers to hack into the local ISP and laugh maliciously as he reboots the server during peak hours.

Harish likes to swim, jog, stare at his computer screen with even more attention than he would give to a naked woman and argue ferociously with Vikram about every single thing. To his credit, he does not lose as often as others do !
