I was lying on my bed and I closed my eyes I heard his voice from the doorway, "surprise" I knew I had to say something but he felt so distant I felt his eyes on my body, I guess he just couldn't resist it suddenly I felt his warm breath on my neck he caressed my forehead with a peck I wanted to smile and nod my head but I just stayed there still instead he sat down next to me by my side he said softly "I love you" then he cried I wish I could have held him but I didn't want him to know I lied should I have opened my eyes and pretended to awaken? because of me he was forsaken it's too late now and he is gone I know the lie would have been worth the pawn
