Swaledale Woollens in the Yorkshire Dales village of Muker are continuing the centuries-old tradition of hand-knitting in Swaledale. For over twenty years, this cottage industry business has been producing quality knitwear made from pure, natural, British wool - mostly from the Swaledale sheep, but also using other British speciality wools. The history of wool products from Swaledale and an on-line catalogue is also provided.
