This picture of Robert was taken in 1998 when he was 7 years old - about the time he created this little cartoon of "Alien."
Here's a story Robert wrote for a fourth grade assignment.
I was doing an experiment with my brother (adding nuclear wast in cheerio's). It smelt bad. I didn't dare touch it. I heard the bubles poping. It looked wierd. It was greenish tan. Then I bumped it! It spilled! "Oh oh" we said! We jumed back! The stuff touched me! All of a sudden I got sucked into my brother's body! I ran to the bathroom to see what I looked like. I looked like my brother! I went to mom and said: "I'm trapped in my brother's body, help!" Mom said: "You don't look like Robert. You look fine, you weren't complaining before." I said: "No. I'm Robert and I'm trapped in Ronnie's body!" Mom said: "I knew you thought you looked fine, I knew you were just pretending!" So I figured she wouldn't help. So I went to see if Jacob would reconise me. So I went to class. I went in and everyone was happy to see me. So I did what my brother does when he comes (helping people with reading). So when I got home I made a antidote. It didn't look like anything Nither all of the other senses. I drank it...then I don't remember...
(I typed this just the way Robert wrote it...no spelling corrections, etc. And I vaguely remember one night Ronnie came into my room and said those things Robert wrote, and me responding with what he wrote here! ~Laura)
