I took this picture of myself with my own camera, by turning on the timer,
setting the zoom/focus, putting the camera on the refrigerator,
and walking to the other end of my kitchen.

- Auto-Focus and exposure
- Exposure can be adjusted +/- 3 f-stops.
- Powered by 4 AA NMH batteries
- Downloads via serial port, cable, and software.
My desktop computer:
Midwest-Micro P5-75
(slot 5 class Pentium processor running at 75 Megahertz)
Mid-Tower computer, which is currently configured with:
- Iomega SCSI 2930 Jaz drive (PCI Bus)
- Iomega Parallel port zip drive,
- Removable hard-drive bay for running different operating systems and setups;
- Plextor 6xPlex 6X SCSI II CD-ROM player,
- 3.5" and 5.25" high density diskette drives,
- Dual 5 Gigabyte internal Maxtor hard drives, and
- Standard components like Speakers, 32 MB EDO-DRAM, etc.
- Original setup cost $2700 only three years ago.
I use this computer to test the coding with MicroSoft Internet
Explorer, version 3 and Netscape Explorer, version 3. The graphics card
is normally set at 640 by 480 pixels.
My notebook computer:
Winbook XL 233Mhz MMX ($2600)
- 12.1" SVGA 800x600 pixel active matrix display
- 32 Megabytes of EDO DRAM (memory)
- 3.2 Gigabyte removable hard drive
- Lithium Ion Battery
- PipeLine Burst Level 2 Cache
- 3.5" floppy and 20x variable speed CD-ROM player - both built in
- Integrated dual button pointing stick and touchpad - both active simultaneously
- 16-bit Yamaha wavetable sound card
- Internal speakers (so so) and microphone
- Two type II PCMCIA slots together (1 type III)
- PCI graphics accelatorator with 2MB or DRAM
- 56K Internal Fax/Modem
- Infra-Red communication thing
- Ports include parallel, serial, PS/2 (for external mouse, trackball, or keyboard), VGA,
TV out, two Universal Serial Buses (USB), speakers, microphone, and something else.
- MicroSoft Windows 95 version 2 pre-installed - with CD included.
This is the computer I use for setting up my web-pages under MicroSoft
Internet Explorer 4.0 and test them using NetScape Navigator 4.0; This
computer views best under 800x600 pixels.
I also use the Opera browser in NO-FRAMES mode to test out the page
under no-frames browser conditions.
