First signs of spring

The first sign of spring is people starting to wear sweaters and light jackets.
You also start to see the street venders out on the warmer days.

The booth has windows on all sides which he opens as needed. He designed the booth to allow him to sit out the cooler weather as well as for security of the merchandise.
Officer writing out a ticket to a skateboarder.   Click to enlarge. And the skateboarders come out in force, and must be kept in check by the police. The police will warn them a few times. If that doesn't work, a citation is issued.

In the warmer weather, most area restaurants and food cart owners will cater to those who would rather eat outside. Restaurants will set an area outside their store with plastic furniture and rope of the area as their serving area. Food cart owners will serve to those who wish to be served quickly and take their food with them.

A sales lady from The Body Shop.  NOT READY to enlarge. Women selling raffle tickets for some elderly cause.  Click to enlarge. What better place to solicit funds for things like charity and the elderly.
