Miscellaneous
by Bryan Trook
I am creating
a book that is yet to be titled. I will hopefully post the whole
thing here on the web, but I may not have enough room. I am planning
for it to be at least 100 pages in length. But, I have it on a word
processor uncompatible with a Mac. I may have to type the whole thing
over on this computer. Names and dates may change and the storyline
may take a while to develop, but it will basically be like this.
Here is a brief summary of my book in progress.
Tom Winston
(an intelligent oceanographer) and Chris McTamel (a humorous amateur weather
man) are good friends and colleagues who work at Shelcon Airport just outside
of Bermuda. On April 6th, the radios at Shelcon have been knocked
out for an hour after midnight. Interference has been in their midst
since then. Two airplanes have disappeared near the center of the
Bermuda Triangle before 9:00 a.m. The temperature has been rising
steadily and rapidly since midnight. They find an abnormal signal
coming from the Triangle.
With no
help from neighboring airports and weather stations, Tom Winston decides
to investigate. He has access to a scientific research boat during
his frequent expeditions out to sea. He and Chris McTamel set out
to find out what is causing the interference and disappearences.
Once near the center, they find strange surfaces on the sea floor.
The radio on the boat has shut down, there is no power in the batteries,
the boat will not start...
I will leave it at that for now...
Preface: In the year 2001: Tom Winston,
an intelligent oceanographer, and Chris McTamel, an amateur weather man,
are about to set out on a quest to find the greatest secret known to man.
The Bermuda Triangle has hid its secret from human kind for centuries;
its is about to be revealed.
More to come...
The book is still not very far, but I am working on it. I am very busy with school, so I will not be able to update this page as often.
