This site doesn't pretend, self-congratulate, extoll non-existent virtues and exude self importance. It's primitive and doesn't really give a fuck, and that's what set The Gravedigger Five apart from its peers and etched its place in the garage rock pantheon for better or worse. The tunes we churned out, was our own take on the sixties garage-punk we loved. As for authenticity? Why emulate what had been done, man, boring, repetitive, so what?
