Welcome to the newsstand of Jeff and Jen Finley. Jeff is the managing editor of three of the Sun-Times News Group's Pioneer Press newspapers. He received a master's in public affairs reporting from the University of Illinois-Springfield in 1999 . While in Springfield, he worked as a Statehouse reporter for Lee Enterprises Inc.'s four daily newspapers with Illinois readers. Before attending UIS, he was a student in the master's program in journalism at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, where he worked as a graduate assistant for the Public Policy Institute. He graduated from Greenville College in 1996 with a B.A. in English. He married Jennifer K. Nead on June 20, 1998, at a Free Methodist Church in Indianapolis, Ind. Jen is a therapist at a behavioral health hospital. She is a 1998 graduate of Greenville College, where she majored in psychology-religion and English. She received a master's degree in community counseling from Roosevelt University in January 2003. She previously worked as a director of social services for several health-care facilities and as a library coordinator for the Daily Herald.
