Life (in a nutshell)

The whole thing begins with an egg and some sperm.
One sperm in particular and the course he will squirm.
Then the next nine months develops the fetus.
Next thing we know, there's a doctor to greet us.
As a baby our lives encompass one job -
Keep our family awake with our loud screaming sob
The next stage in life, we learn as a child
How to color, eat glue and act really wild.
Soon afterwards we become a young teen
(The most obnoxious animal we've ever seen).
Worry's our theme in our older teen years
With college, AIDS and upcoming careers.
Before we know, we become an adult
And life in the real world strikes with a jolt.
(Somewhere in the last four lines) we try sex
Enjoying each other while the condom protects
'Til we do it without - an accident? Maybe!
But ready or not, now there's a baby.
Someday the baby will want to know
"Where did I come from and where will I go?"
Answering the question is a simple task.
Just respond when the question is asked,
"The whole thing began with an egg and some sperm.
One sperm in particular and the course he did squirm"
