So many questions left unasked,
So many faces left unmasked,
So little known 'bout what surrounds us,
So many things tend to confound us,
So many places left unexplored,
So many hearts left un-adored,
Our space, our realm doesn't stretch very far.
Mind only goes where it can by car.

The Sun rises every morn
Of every day since we were born.
So few of us will bare witness.
So few of us know what we miss.

Then comes the day, we've served our time.
Take a nap in a box of pine.
Eternity to look around,
But nothing to see underground.

So get up, go out, go and live,
Take the things life has to give.
Explore what lies beyond your fence,
And never, ever settle for ignorance.
