Although we live in Southern California, we are pictured above in Minnesota, in December of 1997. Earlier in the ;year while attending the William Glenn Gathering, in Sacramento, California. We had the good fortune to become the recipients of a four day trip sponsored by Department 56. It was a fairy tale weekend in Minneapolis, that we shared with 22 other recipients, from various parts of the country. Department 56 amongst other product lines product lines, are the manufacturers of Porcelain Christmas houses. There are seven different villages of which we collect three, but we have several houses in most. To the many collectores of these houses a trip to "ONE VILLAGE PLACE," is on a par with a trip to Mecca.
