Cell Tech
Although it is a pyramid style company (show me one company that isn't, besides co-operatives) and so instinctively I didn't trust the thought of buying from it, as I heard what Cell Tech does and did I grew to respect the company more and more.
Cell Tech is based out of Klamath Falls, OR (right near Mt. Shasta) and was founded on a man's desire to teach. He was frustrated by how hyperactive and unhealthy his students were, and knew that it was probably because of their diet that they couldn't concentrate and couldn't learn.
He sacrificed a lot to study the nutritional content of a little-known food source called blue-green algae, but it has paid off and Cell Tech is a thriving company.
The part that most impressed me about this company is that they donate enough algae to feed every person every day to under-nourished and under-priviledged communities across the world, from Central America to Cambodia to L.A.! And this isn't for a month or for a year, this is for the entire time that Cell Tech is in business.
Blue-green algae gives a person an array of assimilable vitamins and nutrients, and more protein per weight than any other food. (Very nice if you are a vegetarian and have a hard time getting non-animal-based protein). I have a lot more information about it here at home, and you can e-mail me if you're interested.
