the Dalai Lama
The Dalai Lama is possibly the ultimate in gurus for me. Look at this man, he's ALWAYS smiling.
He practices a life of compassion for humanity. He continuously strives for perfection. He lives in harmony, and although he has been exiled from his own country for political reasons, has continued to practice (and his country has continued to practice in his absence) non-violent struggle against their oppressors (liberators?! HAH!). Although I AM an anarchist, I want the Dalai Lama back in his place as the religious (guru) leader of Tibet.
