This is the splash page from the last 1956 Ditko Atlas story. Although it has a
cover date of April '57, it was actually drawn in November of 1956, and held back
until the following year, after the so-called 'purge' at Atlas. These 17 Atlas stories
from 1956 are beautifully-detailed, Ditko works. Most are only four pages, written by
Stan Lee, but Ditko makes the most of them with lush background work.
