Back in 1984, famed Eclipse editor Catherine
Yronwode was set to publish the book above. There are two stories surrounding
its aborted publication. The first is that Ditko pulled his authorization when
he discovered that members of his family were being interviewed. The second,
supplied by Ms. Yronwode herself is that the flood that crushed Eclipse in the
mid-'80s destroyed the manuscript. It is unknown how only one copy of the
manuscript could possible exist, or how something that was 'compiled' couldn't
simply be compiled again.
