Below are the covers of two of the first comics in which Ditko's artwork ever appeared.
Neither covers are drawn by Ditko. I just wanted a place on this site for people
to know what the covers to these books look like, for easy reference. I've often wondered
how many times I may have missed these books at conventions because I didn't know what
the front covers looked like.
Black Magic #27 (to your left) features the 2nd published Ditko story ever
from Nov/Dec '53. To your right is Captain 3-D #1, from Dec '53. Ditko only
did partial inks in this one with other artists working under Kirby's stable. Both covers here
are by Jack Kirby.
