Ah, so many things happen while I ignore my poor web-site. A whole different, unique line-up has come and gone without mention! Nick decided to move to Portland (which is a good idea whose example I may someday follow) but after he left, Laah Wallace joined the band on bass, and Dave Stockton joined to play rythm guitar. We played one gig (our own house-warming) which was ended by an irritated neighbor calling the cops out on us, and shortly thereafter Laah proceeded to hurt her hand at work, ending up not being able to play for almost two months. During this time, Dave got depressed and quit, and when Laah was able to play again, her heart just wasn't in it any more because she discovered her love for the drum set. However, she met a guy named Ryan, whose last name escapes me at the moment, who really wants to play guitar in a band and is very positive and enthusiastic about it, so maybe we'll get somewhere now. His girlfriend, Jocelyn, just happens to play bass. Very cool people. Yep. So here come the Pockmarked Fisherwomen, the band with the name that sounds like it's trying too hard to just be weird, but in fact is simply based on an old joke that just grew on me (me being Benjamin Johnson, the mastermind and anti-control freak of the operation). Thanks for reading.

OLD NEWS

All Neon Like will not happen, at least not any time soon, nor with the original intended line-up. Oh well. But the Pockmarked Fisherwomen do have a new line-up; as of December 10th 2000, or somewhere around there, Nick Deshais has begun playing bass. So now it is Simon Kreiger on drums, Nick Deshais on bass, and Benjamin Johnson on guitar/vocals. Yay.

I am now in a new band called "All Neon Like" with this gal

Don't worry, the Pockmarked Fisherwomen will have many more Incarnations, but for now it is just me continuing to exist until my next outing into rock and roll superstardom. 1
