I blame my computer addictions on my daughter Alice and her daughter Jasmine
[yes, that makes this beautiful young lady my granddaughter] but I'm not old enough to be
her grandmother and don't you forget it! They created such a monster that
I no longer have time to wander the chat rooms. Most of my time is spent working on
projects involving art and photography. Please forgive them for they knew not what they were doing.
Some of my interests are painting landscape oils, acrylics, and water colors
(Bob Ross method - if I can do it, so can you), travel (travel is cheap, I work for
an airline), irc (now and then), ICQ (once in a while), but mostly doing projects involving,
my art and photography interests (omigod, I'm repeating myself),
creating greeting cards, collecting ridiculous things people say to me every day,
crocheting, sewing, and most of all, my computer.
Don't think I am as old as I try to make you believe....I'm not a white haired little old lady.
Lady Clairol and I are best friends.
Actually, I am ??, but only if you're counting.
In truth, I seem to think I'm my daughter's age...30-something. My daughter and I are
great friends, and my granddaughter ....well, of course,..... she's something else,
now if I could only figure out what.
Just in case you're wondering, North Carolina has been my home for the last couple of years.
The terrain is beautiful. The clay is horrible. The weather is pretty nice.
It's not a bad place to live. In fact it's a pretty great place to live.
One thing that shocked me, when I moved here, is the lack of courtesy among
the drivers. I guess I feel that way after spending most of my adult life trying to
outguess the Florida tourists who turn left from the right hand lane and vice versa.
One also learns to give way when you see someone driving in rush hour
traffic while reading a road map.
