The Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center in New York. This was taken December 2004, my first holiday season in the Northeast. I took this at dusk, which explains the richness of the colors.
I took this photo after I exited the Metro station outside Pere Lachaise cemetery in Paris in May 2002. I love the style of the entryway. Of course, I visited Jim Morrison's grave once inside the cemetery walls. It was decorated with flowers, cigarettes and a joint. Photos of Pere Lachaise will be up one day.
This is a photo that was taken in 2000 of an acquaintance who also was in a band. I took promo shots for all members, but this one was my favorite because it was a candid shot - not posed.
I took these pictures in October 1998 while in Toronto, Ontario in Canada. The first photo is a view of Casa Loma, a turn of the century castle, from the front drive. The second photo is a photo of Casa Loma's gardens taken from one of the castle's high towers. In the second photo, you can see a background of downtown Toronto - it was pretty hazy that day.
These are pictures I took in October 1997 when I traveled to Espinoza, Nuevo Leon in Mexico. This is a cemetery on a hill just outside the small town and on the Nuevo Leon border. Espinoza is about 70 miles northwest of Monterrey. Twice a year, curanderos from throughout Mexico and Texas travel to Espinoza to pay homage to El Nino Fidencio, a famous curandero who lived at the turn of the century. Curanderos are Mexican healers.
I took these pictures fairly recently - spring 1999 - in Louisiana. For some reason, the different windows just caught my attention. I'm not sure what exactly what *they* are trying to say, but I do think the pictures speak volumes.
A friend and I did these...we took another friend's concrete squirrel off his front porch and took him to various spots around town in the spring of 1998. Unfortunately, the ones of him riding the lawnmower in Wal-Mart didn't come out...heh.
