Los Chorros. It's a turicentro, and it's near San Salvador, but it's still surprisingly pleasent. Four pools are filled by water cascading down thickly-vegetated slopes-almost like a Hawaiian jungle paradise, except for the crowds. The highest pool seems to have the cleanest water, and the entire turicentro is surrounded by ferns, flowers and dripping moss. If you didn't bring a picnic you can grab a bite at one of the small comedores at the bottom.
