Calvin and his best friend in whole world 
Hobbes. I am going to teach you a few things about Calvin that you might not know.
First of all there is this girl in school. She also lives right down the street from Calvin. Her name 
is Susie Derkins. And from what I can tell Calvin has a major crush on her.
Ok so maybe not.
But Calvin does have alter-egoes. One of which is superhero extraordinaire 
STUPENDOUS MAN!!!!!!!!!! Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Calvin also has an active imagination (no really). Unfortunately for this hyperactive 6 year old one of the places that his active imagination takes over is school. That is when 
Mrs. Wormwood regains his attention and brings him back to reality.
At recess and sometimes when he's really unlucky in gym class this boy 
Moe will pound the living daylights out of our boy Calvin.
Moe is street smart. That means he knows what street he lives on

But does our boy Calvin care? Course not. When he gets home his pal Hobbes just helps him forget all about his horrible day at school.
Of course as you know separately a tiger and a 6 year old can cause some major headaches for parents. And together they can be dangerous. That's why every now and then Calvin's parents 
have to go out. But without supervision? Don't be foolish. They leave our dear Calvin and Hobbes in the care of this girl 
Rosalyn. She is fair and just.
okay so maybe "fair and just" is a bit of an exaggeration.
Not that Calvin would ever do anything to Rosalyn because she is such a great babysitter. 
of course he would don't be foolish.
I didn't need to a big serious tribute to these two because it's not like I felt I needed to inform the world of what really goes on with these two or who they are or who they interact with. They were and still are a phenomenon worldwide. I'd just like to say a quick few words tho. I think that Bill Waterson is the most talented artist ever and I think that Calvin and Hobbes is the best cartoon strip that ever lived. Thank You. (but wait there's more).
