Southern Nevada's Memorial to Fallen Officers

On May 31, 1991, the City of Las Vegas established this memorial to the peace officers who have given their lives in the line of duty. A star represents each local, state and federal officer who made the ultimate sacrifice. There are currently 17 stars on the memorial which is located on the west steps of City Hall, 400 E Stewart Avenue at Las Vegas Boulevard. A formal ceremony is conducted in May of each year to remember and honor these heroes.
