HEROIN - Yes, we've all heard a lot about it through our lives, a lot lately about its regain of popularity. So, heroin, blissful godsend or devilish distraction? Neither. Simply a substance that can be used responsibly, or all too easily abused. Not a gift from god or a trick of the devil. I would never dare to say someone should or should not do anything that is so obviously a personal choice as drugs, not even the dreaded heroin. What I will say about that choice is to be responsible, educate yourself, and be aware of the risks before taking the chance, so if a problem does occur, you know not to blame anyone other than yourself. Drugs are not an excuse to avoid self-responsibility, so before experimenting with one as dangerous as heroin, know yourself and know your facts.
The following links should provide a starting point for finding information about heroin and opiates, although I will not vouch for the validity of any information contained within them, nor do I agree with the opinions many present. I disagree with anti-drug slogans, and considering drugs will always be in demand, I believe they should be legalized and controlled, keeping them cleaner and safer. Keeping people like you safer, people who believe in the choices they make without hurting anyone.
