Fumino Hirai's friends (1st grade of Nan Zan University - subject: History) had been tired pursuing her to have a boyfriend.
All their efforts were useless!

She had a very good reason.... :)
When she was 7 years old, while hopelessly waiting for her sick mother in a hospital,
a boy 3 years older than her had encouraged her about her mom.... He also said that she had aquamarine birthstone
(2nd of March was her birthday)
and promised:

"When Fumino is 20 years old,
I'll meet you with an aquamarine ring.
After that...
Will you marry me?"

Though she never met the boy again,
all of her life, she's been waiting for that time.

Then oneday she met an annoying guy ever!
She wanted to pick a book on a high rack, he picked it instead... for himself. He bought the book and gave it to her. She didn't want to, but he suggested her, and said, she must be his girlfriend as a reward. [Argh! ^^;]
He opened his sunglass and asked, if she knew him. Since he was a top model... so often seen
in many magazines. When she shouted out her reason, he answered, that it's okay for him to be her boyfriend until the day 'her fiance' came
on her 20th birthday.

He began to follow her. And she became the famous Sakiya Kyosuke's secret girlfriend.
He never let her with him in public.
He came to her place or vice versa.
He'd been photographed with many different girls every time a magazine came out.

Though Sakiya said, only she who had come to his place, Fumino became tired with the game &
she still hoped for her 'old time' fiance to come.

Then oneday she met Arai, who was almost a resemble of the boy's face a long time ago.
He was 3 years older, he broke his leg and
went to the same hospital when he was 10.

Who would Fumino choose?
What would happen on her 20th birthday?
What kind of gift Arai would give?
What kind of surprise Sakiya made
in his first movie?

Would Fumino's old time fiance ever come?

I LOVE DONTA
(the second story in the tankoubon)

Donta was an ugly cat, defensed by
the shy Hazuki when she was 4 years old
(Donta was 1 year old that time).

She fond of Ryusei Ihara, a baseball player.
But she was too shy.
And there's also Shiori who was Ryusei's
close friend since they're small kids,
who thought of him as hers.

Ryusei himself liked the idea of the word:
Hazuki = moon
Ryusei = star

How could an old cat like Donta, who had already a heart attack and was dying,
help the shy Hazuki to be brave
and reach her dream?
