Kid was missing. His friends looked everywhere for him. They went to Hongkong for a clue. Hongkong in the 19 century was a British colony. They found a young guy, almost precisely like Kid, named David Baross, the only son of the governor-general. David was a playboy. He loved Karin, his maid. Karin was sent to the Whale Island, because she was suspicious of  illegal opium production activity. Joker, Harry and Marina decided to help  Tao, Karin's brother to release her. David joined them, though he was afraid.

They already got a pendant with a picture of a mermaid inside. But to get the Bubble Crystal, they needed two pendants more, the Moon and the Sun. Begawan Agashtya had waited for them. He had the Moon pendant. But Krishna took it and killed the master. He was said, had sold his soul to Goa, the Destructive God. Krishna performed Ashura dance and  his Rudra (the Storm God) sword was too strong to be defeated.

The Sun pendant was trapped inside an Emerald Tree. Kid and his friends were succeeded in breaking down the tree, but it was not easy to defend it. Marina covered Kid, but she got poisonous needle from Krishna. Her body slowly became stone. If she didn't get the cure from the Sun pendant soon, she would die sooner than later. Begawan Chandra who looked like a baby  but was 800 years old, challenged Kid, Joker and Harry to climb the mountain with seven tasks to get the Fantasy Flower, Kumar to ignite their buried power so they could serve Krishna well in duel.

 

Harry must use the holy Crusaders swords that had incidentally killed his mother and  had been in Shutroheim's for generation, to defeat Krishna's mate, a white tiger monster. They were succeeded in saving Marina's life. With the three pendants, Kid and his friends and Begawan Chandra could easily enter the Emerald Jungle.

But Bubble Crystal fell into Goa's hand. Chandra was killed. But an unexpected person helped them. And the defeated Destructive God Goa slept once more in Indian Ocean as a weird shaped rock.

Golden Drake sailed into a storm and Kid was thrown from the ship. He was stranded in High Harbor Island. He was amnesia until his friends found him.

Meanwhile the story was going into flashback First, about Little Kid who felt Captain Drake was never proud of him, so he wanted to prove anything.

 

Second, about first meeting of Kid and Joker. Joker was sent by Visconti to kill Kid. Joker thought Kid was responsible of  the dead of some small street kids, his best friends. Until finally he found out that Visconti ordered an experiment. The Crystal Dice could produce Deadly Cocoon. The children died because of the poison of the basic element to develop the cocoon (which later famous by atomic bomb). How could Joker solve the problem? And he thought Kid would take  the Deadly Cocoon for his own purpose....

 

Third, Kid's first love.... ^_^ Isabel was a ballet dancer in a circus. She didn't want to accept Kid's gift, because she knew Kid's a pirate.

She didn't want a gift bought with  bloody money. Kid worked at the circus to give a precious gift to her as a farewell gift....

Kid helped an old pirate named Jim Hoskins out from prison. He was intended to get The Tears of Caribbean treasure. But Red Starjes was fast. She kidnapped Jim and with only little seduction, she 'got' the treasure map on Jim's back.

But Kid could get Jim back and they sailed to Clint Island to get the biggest diamond in the world. Starjes challenge Kid for a duel. But what should he do when Jim died to protect him and he found out that the treasure was full with betrayals between friends?

Kid and his friends went to Yunani. But nobody available to guide them to Lavulintus Secret Tunnel. They were afraid of King Minos' curse, the Minotaurus. 14 people from German archeological team had never came back. Only Marta, a small kid who liked to draw, agreed to help them. He wanted to look for Arta his only brother. A monster had waited for them. What should Kid do when finally he was sucked into it too?

Visconti was behind. He kidnapped Marina this time.

But what shocked Kid most was when Marina refused to go back to him....

 

Kid remained silent. Nobody could cheer him up. Golden Drake needed repairment badly,

so they sailed to the Skull Island, near Madagascar. Wong Taishin, 26 years, Golden Drake's mechanic, was always ready to repair it.

 

In Madagascar, a beautiful singer, Sirene, caught Kid's heart somehow. He didn't realize yet, that Sirene was a mermaid who used to put spell on men. But Lawrence the Dessert Lion had waited for him. Joker tried to help, but he ended being caught by Lawrence. Lawrence used him as a bait. Harry didn't let Kid know about the challenge. But somehow Kid knew it from Marta. Kid interrupted the duel between Harry and Lawrence. Kid and Lawrence had a fight... until suddenly Lawrence disappeared....

 

Kid went home to the Skull Island,  only to find that the three first treasures of Atlantis had gone. (The fourth was on Visconti's hand). Wong and the others had been hypnotized. Sirene left a message in a shell: If you wanted to meet me, came to Tahiti. Marina would also be there....
