A young man looked up
Into his father's eyes
And with anger he said
"Daddy, why did you lie?"
So many times
You said you'd come
But you never showed up
Daddy, what has he done?
Why don't you care
Like you used to do?
Haven't you realized
Daddy that he loves you.
The man hung his head
For in truth he did know
He done his child wrong
And his love, he didn't show.
Hoping it was not too late
He hugged the young man tight
And the love between father and son
Was found again that night.
