AN EVERLASTING DREAM

As she looked beyond the window
She beheld a glorious sight,
A masterpiece of nature
Only seen at night.

It was no fancy doings
With perfect lines and schemes;
But it was the kind of a miracle
Only reached in dreams.

The amber moon was shining
And so great was its bright light
That she gazed in all its splendor
Forgetting the blackness of the night.

The solitude of the atmosphere
The crystal colored sea
Made her realize this was no dream
But everlasting reality.
