AUTUMN II

Nature's beauty...
From the earth tone blues,
To misty beiges and soft browns,
Designed in fine array.
A veil of velvet mist...
The mountains, blowing a kiss,
On the wind, so cool and crisp,
The sounds of silent love pursues.
How silently, the early morning dawn...
All her children soon rub their eyes
And gently stretch and yawn.
Frosty lace in bright display,
Knowing that another season is on the way.
All autumn tasks are soon to end,
For the coming of winter begins to descend.
