BROKEN TIES

He realizes his broken ties
His whole life filled with lies

Friendship destroyed by distance in miles
Begin adding up his tributes and trials

Constant conflicts on his mind
One good reason he can't find

He tries to tell right from wrong
Emotions force him to sing this song

Family life has now fell victim
It's not of his hands, can't change the system

To mend these ties he now grows weak
Exhausted is he, unable to speak

Be it not his intention to offend
Any more can he not bear to pretend

He wishes he could change the rules of this game
Wearing this burden, taking the blame

Things are never as they seem
His guilty hands he longs to clean

He hopes his words can somehow teach
A decision in which the masses may reach.
