FEAR

Once she was walking,
Through the deep, dark woods.
Shadows dancing around her,
She would run if she could.
Something grabbed a hold of her,
And wouldn't let her go.
The air smelled bitter...
The ozone ripe.

Shaking as she stood,
It was a pitiful sight.
She turned and she saw
That no one was there.
But! Something had her alright,
And she was scared.
Trembling as she walked away,
She knows that it, was there to stay.
