HER DOG

He came into her life for one day when
He was just a pup--
And oh how did he love to drink
From such a tiny cup--
They had a lot of good times
There's many to recall--
They laughed and played upon the
Beach and always had a ball--
Whether they were going for a ride, or
Going to his favorite spot
From the bottom of her heart, he
Loved him such a lot--
Now that he's at peace, there's
Something she'd like the say--
"Schooner" was the greatest dog,
He always made her day!
