LIFE XII

Nature calls her to her side
She is restless and carefree
In her corners danger hides
That she's not sure she wants to see.

There is a swirling in the air
And blossoms on the trees
A peacefulness begins where
The fury often leaves.

The thrill of life surrounds her
Everywhere she goes,
But yet she's so afraid of all
The things that she doesn't know.

She lives her life through dreams
Of all the things she wants to be,
And all the while accepting
That they won't come true for her.

If she should try to reach that star
That seems so far away.
She might just find that a dream can be
Reality for a day.
