RAIN
The rain keeps falling down on him
Telling him what he can not be
Washing away all of his dreams
Nothing is ever just as it seems
The falling rain is getting him wet
And now his emotional in debt
Burning away like a cigarette
Is this as good as it's going to get
Rain drops keep getting in his eyes
Every time it rains, another part of him dies
Oh so much he really wishes that he could get high
And overcome the rain, so hard he tries
He tries to find shelter, but there's none in sight
The rain says it rules him, he guesses, maybe it's right
But this is no way for a man to live his life
So he runs away quick like a thief in the night
He builds his own shelter made of dead parts of himself
One day in the future everyone will see
He'll stop the rain and stand up for himself
